She’s a mage. That’s basically like having the console key for the universe. Int limits the length of your character buffer, level limits the extent of the command.

So, for magic, gestures and incantations activate different parts of the brain, possibly through various neural cross-links. Basically you get a highly complicated “lens.” It’s all a guess, though, I mean science is still trying to figure out all the great stuff the brain does in real life.
