Had to look up hebetudinous, but having done so I second Animeswords’ comment.
Well, at least Dana knows the word “thesaurus.” That’s a start. (I used to teach English part-time.)
I’d worry less about the vocabulary and more about why he speaks in Diablo font. Even more if he starts sensing souls in search of answers.
