In a sexual connotation, ravish means to carry off and vigorously pursue very aggressive sex with a quasi-reluctant partner, while ravage simply means to violently rape.
Ravish is romantic, like in a bodice-ripper romance novel. Think Blanche Devareaux
Ravage is violent, like in a true crimes novel. Think the Black Dahlia.

Welcome back! This really made my day. I am thinking of the impracticalities of vomiting behind a mask, but perhaps this topic should not be investigated further. The blink in Kauthris’ eye indicates she is not too unhappy with last night’s events.

At least we can kill the debate about whether the kid is a boy. A healer isn’t going to get that wrong after an examination. Even a Svartling healer…
I hope this means that you and the baby and any partners that are involved are finding a routine that gives you a little time. We still understand that the updates are likely to be infrequent. A baby is more important than producing free comics. So is sleep.
(In case you haven’t been warned, the baby will decide to change their routine every few months, and some days they will decide not to follow their routine.)

To the best of my memory, the routine from 3 months to 6 months was something like: nurse at 9pm, sleep until midnight, wake and scream, nurse for a while, stay awake and scream until 3am unless constantly bounced, sleep from 3am to 6am, nurse, mostly calm from 6 to 9am, nurse, scream from 9am to noon unless constantly bounced, nurse, … (For some reason, I didn’t think to keep notes on this, so I may misremember some details.)
Some time after 12 months, the routine involved napping twice each day and waking only once or twice each night, and screaming less but louder. The transitions from napping twice a day to napping once, and from napping once a day to not napping, were both difficult, but resolved after a month or two.
I think Kauthris is playing this up a bit…there was no vomiting at the house. Perhaps they supported each other on the way home followed by mutual repressed ravishing.
They probably ‘supported’ each other on the way home while they took turns leaning over a plant pot or garbage can. At least they each had someone to hold their hair…or cloak/hood/whatever, misery loves company 😉
Nah, although a bunch would appreciate the fan service that ensued. It’s probably just another cog in the story wheel that keeps turning for our amusement. I’m def amused.
