“Can we stop to loot?”
Pretty sure I’ve heard that last line or a variant thereof in some movie or other.
I’ve heard that line at the last few places I’ve been employed. It’s a pretty standard end-of-meeting ‘sign off’ from what I can tell…
Quote from Pappas, from the movie Point Break – “…last time you had a feeling I had to kill a guy, and I hate that… It looks bad on my report.”
It’s actually a line often used for replacement Marines, along with “don’t shoot no Marines” during the Battle of Iwo Jima. I’m sure other English-speaking militaries said it before then. Dry with is more common in the commonwealth than in the States, after all, and always has been.
Ah yes, the dreaded paperwork.
See the SCA Birthday Dirge, AKA “Volga Birthday” on yew tewb…
Ah yes … the “Don’t die … I hate paperwork” motivation speech .
“Live your life for other” I guess
I like the quirked eyebrow reaction on the third panel. Sort of amplifies the sentiment that it wasn’t there in response to the second panel. =)
Can we go back to what’s happening at home? 😀
