And Since she has been casting spells so much she has internalized the formulas at a rate much faster then other mages.

It looks to me as if she’s modifying spells she knows (Fireball –> Incendiary Spray), possibly fueled by her justifiably extreme fear of spiders. It’s probably dangerous, and she may pay a price from using too much mana, or something, but, hey, it worked!

Dana is actually quite smart we know mages are an INT class in this setting, and Dana Int is much higher then Cyprien’s as he could not even try to read Dana’s spell book for easy xp

The hot temper and hotter spells gave it away, she matches my Sorceress exactly, right down to the ditz.

Honestly when I started the comic, I didn’t intend for it to be D&D inspired, just cRPGs in general. I haven’t even played D&D tabletop at all, just sunk many hours in Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights years ago and more recently, Solasta and BG3. n_n
The only RPG\’s I\’ve really played much are D&D and AD&D plus BG and Neverwinter Nights (and I still do)
I know a bit about a few others but my comments are usually slanted towards those ones.
If you’ve played Neverwinter Nights 1&2, then you’ve played D&D without the tabletop. The races, classes, spell, etc. are all nearly identical to those used in 3rd edition and 3.5 edition of D&D. A few things were altered, simply to make it easier for them to be playable in a PC game, but otherwise it’s the same.
Any bets on whether they rescue the missing squires stuck in the web or whether they die in the \’rescue attempt\’ and they just loot the bodies ?
Either way Cyprien jumps ahead in the competition to be Ysteena\’s newest plaything.
Multiclassing as sorceress? OR virtual int over 20 (there were feats like that in D&D if I recall) just for spellcasting purposes? OR its like in that old saying “Everybody knows something is impossible till one day a gal who doesnt know it comes along and does it.”

i\’m wondering if her spells might work on INT rather than CHA but be more spontaneous like a Sorceress than planned in advance like a Wizard(Witch) ?
